The district is to open its newly renovated middle school building at the start of the next academic year. The building, which formerly served as the district's high school, will house grades five through eight.

Fifth-graders now attend the district's elementary schools. The middle school, which will be demolished next fall, includes grades six through eight.

Heasley will discuss academic schedules and provide an overview of the new building. Fifth- and sixth-graders will occupy a floor separate from seventh and eighth-graders.

Heasley held a series of informal question-and-answer  with parents in the spring regarding the changes.

Superintendent Donna Milanovich told the Moon Area School Board this week that Tuesday's meeting is open to the public.
