Community Blood Drive

Every two seconds, someone needs to receive blood. Yet even with all the amazing technology and many innovations in the healthcare industry, there is no substitute for blood. Donations are the only way hospitals and trauma centers accumulate blood supplies for the patients in need. The Central Blood Bank supplies blood to more than 40 hospitals in our region and needs to collect 200,000 units annually to meet the demand in our region. A single donation can save up to three lives.

The Moon Community Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, April 28th in the Sky Room of the Moon Township Public Library from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please consider making a donation. The blood you donate could save the life of a family member, a friend or a neighbor here in our community.
