Water from an improperly installed storm water basin at the foot of the 34-house development has been pushing sediment and trees downward toward Flaugherty Run and Becks Run roads since the development was built in 2007, causing concern among township officials.

NewPointe Realty owns the property where the landslide is occurring. Work to repair the hillside was originally slated to begin this spring, but the developer delayed it, according to township officials.
