Township officials and residents will gather at 10 a.m. Sunday to commemorate the 9/11 attacks and officially unveil Moon's new memorial rain garden.
The township will conduct a dedication ceremony for its new , crafted from a piece of World Trade Center steel. The memorial will serve as the centerpiece of the township's new community rain garden at 1000 Beaver Grade Road.
The will lay wreaths on the monument and will honor the occasion with a musical tribute.
Guest speakers at the ceremony will represent Moon's emergency response, military and airline communities.
The event is open to the public and free to attend. Parking will be available across the street from the .
