Robinson Police: Women Steal Items Valued at $2,000 from Sears

made the following recent arrests and responded to the following recent incidents. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction. 

  • William Joseph Staub, 28, of Imperial, was charged with theft of $50 to $200 on Sept. 4 at the Settlers Ridge shopping center.  
  • Store employees said on Sept. 1 three women stole items valued at more than $2,000, including clothing and perfume, from Sears on Robinson Centre Boulevard. The women were seen on surveillance video taking items off store shelves and concealing them. The group fled before police arrived. 
  • Hope Thomas, 44, of Monroeville, was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and corruption of minors on Sept. 1 after police said she attempted to steal items valued at more than $1,700  from the Market District Giant Eagle at Settlers Ridge.
