Robinson Police: Theft from Construction Site Totals Nearly $7K

More than $6,000 in equipment was stolen from a Robinson Township construction site, Robinson Police said. 

The Washington, PA-based Northern Pipeline Construction reported drills, water pumps and other equipment missing earlier this month from its Station Street construction site.

Police said the theft, which totaled $6,900 in construction equipment and materials, occurred sometime between Nov. 2 and Nov. 5.

No one has been charged in connection to the incident. Police continue to investigate. 

Robinson Township Police also responded to the following incidents and made the following arrests. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction.

  • Anthony Cocco, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with retail theft Nov. 5 at Sears on Robinson Centre Drive. Cocco is accused of attempting to steal more than $200-worth of tools from the store, according to a complaint. 
  • Terrie Mitchell Casto, 66, of Kennedy, was charged with retail theft Nov. 5 at Sears on Robinson Centre Drive. Police said Casto was identified on surveillance footage taking more than $200-worth of tools from the store, according to a complaint. 
  • Patricia Cassidy, 46, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit retail theft on Nov. 5 in connection to a theft on Settlers Ridge Drive.
