Moon Man Charged with Stealing from Daughter's Trust Fund

A Moon Township man has been charged with theft and forgery in connection to the incident.

A Skylark Drive resident has been charged with stealing money from his ill daughter's trust fund account. 

Mark Edward Piccolo, 53, has been charged by the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office with felony theft by deception, and three counts of forgery, according to court records. 

Piccolo is accused of taking money from a trust fund established for his daughter's medical care, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

The amount of money he reportedly stole was not immediately available. 

Court records show the alleged theft took place in 2009. He is scheduled to appear July 19 for a preliminary hearing.
