Fire Reported at Westpointe Apartments

responded to the following recent incidents and made the following recent arrests. Each incident is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction. 

• Robinson Police charged four motorists with driving under the influence of a controlled substance in the early morning hours of July 29 during patrols on Steubenville Pike. 

• Richard Connors, 59, of Pittsburgh and Bruce Michael Gergerich, 50, of Pittsburgh, were charged with drug possession July 30 near the Pittsburgh Motel. 

• Police and the Moon Run Volunteer Fire Department responded to fire July 29 in an apartment unit at the Westpointe Apartments. Damage was minor, but the apartment unit was evacuated. No cause of the fire was available.
