Visions for Vacancy: What Should Move into this Building?

Vacant buildings and unused storefronts are eyesores, but an empty storefront can also be an opportunity. You don't need to be a commercial developer or city planner—or have money to invest in a business project—to have the next great idea.

This vacant storefront at 8754 University Boulevard has a past that might be unsavory for some. Formerly known as the Sports Health Spa, it was t in 2008 after it was found to be a brothel fronting as a massage parlor. 

These days, it sits empty on a piece of prime University Boulevard real estate. It was assessed this year at a market value of $220,300.
