The Moon Area School District has hired former Montour coach Samuel Woods to lead its boys and girls volleyball program.
Woods served as an assistant coach for the Montour School District for eight years, overseeing both the boys and girls teams, said high school Prinicipal Barry Balaski.
Woods' hire was approved unanimously during by Moon Area School Board members.
"Thank you all for the opportunity," Woods said when addressing the board. "I'm very excited and I'm going to make the most of this."
