Five Things You Need to Know This Week

A rundown of the week's soon-to-be big stories and upcoming events for Monday, June 6.

1. Moon seniors to graduate

The will hold its commencement ceremony for graduating seniors at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium. Check back with Patch for coverage this week. 

2. Township library closed Thursday

The will be closed Thursday while it replaces computers. The library will resume normal business hours on Friday.

3. Township meetings scheduled for this week

The Moon Transportation Authority meets at 6 p.m. tonight in the Moon Municipal Building. The township's comprehensive meeting is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the municipal building. 

4. Moon family fun nights resume for the summer

Moon families can stop by  at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the first 2011 township family fun night. Clem Rolin & the Jazz All-Stars with Denise Powell will take to the ARL Amphitheater for a family-friendly performance.

5. Moon Historical Society hosts meet-up

The Moon Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at the Moon Township . An Abraham Lincoln impersonator will be on hand for the event, which is open to the public and free to attend.
