1. Moon Area School Board holds monthly meeting

The  will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the high school meeting room. 

The board is slated to vote on high school change orders and the ratification of a contract between the district and its support staff union.

2. Moon Flight car wash slated to open

The new Moon Flight, a hybrid car and dog wash and drive-through coffee shop, is scheduled to hold its grand opening today.

The new business is located at the intersection of University Boulevard and Stoops Ferry Road.

Update: Moon Flight, the new car and dog wash and coffee shop on University Boulevard, has not opened today, as the businesses owners stated it would. Patch will keep you updated on its grand opening. 

3. Moon Garden Club to host flower show

The juried flower show will be held all day Wednesday at the Robin Hill Center.

5. State Police to inspect local school buses

Pennsylvania State Police in Moon will be conducting inspections of Allegheny County school buses at its McCormick Road barracks Wednesday.
