A born Pittsburgher with a wandering foot that led her to Europe during the '80s, Lizabeth Gray returned to the 'Burgh in 1991 with her three young children in tow. Trying out college life at the ripe old age of 37, she graduated with honors from Point Park College (now a university) in 1994. Prior to graduation, she interned at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in its photo department. After graduation, Gray returned to the P-G and went on to work in the photo department, rights and republications section and eventually on the Web desk of post-gazette.com.
Now with her three children all grown up and her third chapter beginning, Gray is trying her hand as a calendar editor for several of the Patch communities in Western Pennsylvania, including CranberryPatch, MoonPatch and SewickleyPatch. She hopes to include more video and photo work in her Patch portfolio, which she has already done for Baldwin-WhitehallPatch.
