Coraopolis Resident Faces Deportation

A 24-year-old Coraopolis man has been indicted in federal court.

A man living in Coraopolis has been indicted by a grand jury on charges he re-entered the United States after being deported. Mauro Zececero-Soto, 24, originally from Mexico, was removed from the United States in April, 2011, following an investigation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but was again found living in Coraopolis on Jan. 4 of this year.  Zececero-Soto was indicted Tuesday on one count of re-entry into the U.S. after deportation, according to a statement from U.S. District Attorney David Hickton's office.  If convicted, Zececero-Soto faces a maximum of two years in prison, a fine of $250,000 or both, based upon the severity of the offense and his prior criminal history.
