Kids Kick Off Summer Reading Season at Moon Library

Radio Disney stopped by the local reading event.

Youngsters danced to the tune of Radio Disney Saturday at the Moon Township Public Library's summer reading program kick-off.  Families gathered for games, music and a day at the library during the annual event, where kids could register for the library's regular summertime reading program.  More than 400 residents were expected to attend the festival, which serves as the library's largest yearly event, said librarian Megan Goode.  Radio Disney DJs hosted games and showed off a few dance moves to kids in attendance.  Click through the gallery above for photos.

The county’s Department of Human Services is collecting the dresses from now until late March when it will allow the teens to browse the hangers for the dresses of their dreams. Local Cooks Compete for Best Gingerbread House

Library hosts annual baking competition
