Kristen DCiocco, a senior goaltender for Robert Morris University, has set a new record for wins by a single goaltender in Colonials program history. DiCiocco earned the honor during the team's eighth College Hockey American win of the season over Penn State University on March 8. The early childhood education major notched her 32nd career victory in the game, stopping 12 of the 13 shots she faced from Penn State and tallying a .929 save percentage in the game. Robert Morris University's men's basketball team will take on Mount St. Mary's today in the Northeastern Conference semifinals. Tipoff is at 2:30 p.m. at the university's Sewall Center. The Moon Area High School gymnastics team took home the winning spot in the Pennsylvania Classic. The team won Sunday night with a final score of 146.705 in the state final, the Tribune-Review reports. Baldwin took home second place in the competition. The Tigers also won the meet in 2012. Earlier this month, the team took its second consecutive WPIAL championship during a competition at Moon Area High School. Moon senior Sarah Haslett, competing in her first WPIAL competition, unseated three-time champion Kelly Burak, of Hopewell, for the top spot in the competition.

Craig Bioni reflects on coaching his sons—both on and off the ice.
When they’re at the ice rink, Craig and Justin Bioni have a typical athlete-instructor bond, but that changes when the game ends. “We live five minutes from the (Airport Ice Arena) and when your dad is the coach, it’s a long ride home,” Craig jokingly said. Justin Bioni, of the Moon Area High School varsity hockey program, is one of five high school hockey players in the PIHL Class AA division to be coached by his father, Craig. The two are making the most of the experience. “It’s great (playing for my dad). I love it,” said Justin, a defenseman for the Tigers. “Playing for other coaches is pretty good, but my dad will push me to do what I need to do in order to get better, and he’s always on me, but I like it.” Craig, who is also in …
