Moon Township makes the Pittsburgh Business Times' list of top residential community's for home sales.
Moon Township has been named as one of the top communities in the Pittsburgh region for home sales. RealStats, a Pittsburgh-area real estate data firm, named Moon as the ninth strongest residential community in the Pittsburgh metro area, based on the number of home sales from 2000 to 2011 and the total dollar volume of those homes. During the last decade, the township raked in some $70,506,722 in total dollar volume from home sales, RealStats reports. Other communities that rounded out the list include Pine and Franklin townships and Upper St. Clair. Cranberry notched the top spot. The Pittsburgh Business-Times has more on the list. Terri, you are quite correct. One of the reasons that Moon is such a vibrant, growing community is because of the new buildings. Let's just hope that this current board doesn't destroy what Mr.Scappe built. This current board still has no clue as to what they are doing, after 9 months in power.
