A Mercer County man will stand trial on charges that he watched women undress from outside their Moon Township apartment windows.
A man who police said peered into the windows of women's apartments to watch them undress has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Brian Williams, 38, of Greenville, Mercer County, appeared Tuesday in Coraopolis District Court with his wife and several family members at his side to waive the hearing. Moon Police said Williams admitted in March to traveling to Moon to watch women from outside their windows and masturbate as they disrobed. Seven women, who lined one side of the Coraopolis courtroom, were prepared to testify against Williams, whose own family members sat in an adjacent corner, his wife looking on. Brian Williams, 37, is now scheduled to appear Aug. 7 in Coraopolis District Court for his hearing. He was slated to appear in court today on charges that he lurked outside of women's apartments windows to watch them undress inside. Moon Police have charged Williams with seven counts of invasion of privacy, defiant trespass and loitering and prowling at night. A Mercer County man who police said lurked outside of apartment windows to watch women undress will appear for a preliminary hearing July 10 in Coraopolis District Court. Brian Williams, 36, of Greenville, was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing today in district court, but that hearing has been re-scheduled for July. He was charged by Moon Police with seven counts of invasion of privacy, defiant trespass and loitering and prowling at night. Police said they found Williams loitering on the evening of March 26 outside of a women's apartment window at the Waterford Landing apartment complex.
