Moon Teens Graduate from State Police Camp
After completing six-day camp, 55 honored as State Police Cadets.
Two Moon Township teenagers graduated as Pennsylvania State Police Cadets at the annual Allegheny County Camp Cadet in Sharpsburg. State Trooper Robin Mungo said Moon residents Travis Sparks and Paige Duffy, both 14, completed the six-day camp July 30. The camp is organized by Mungo and the state police barracks in Moon Township. Mungo said the camp included both a physical training regimen as well as preparation for a career in law enforcement. As part of their training, cadet-trainees were asked to investigate a mock homicide.
