Moon Baseball Sign-Ups Rescheduled for Feb. 2

Kids can sign up this weekend for springtime Little League in Moon Township.

After a delay due to inclement weather, Moon Township Little League sign-ups will take place this weekend.  Registration for Moon Baseball's 51st season is slated for 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 2 in the Moon Area Middle School lobby. Online registration is now available on the league's website.  Eligiblity is open to all Moon Area School District residents; proof of residency may be required and children signing up for the first time will need to provide government-issued proof of age.   Registration fees are as follows:  Click the media in this article to view the full flier for the event, including age requirements.

At a Glance: Kindergarten Sign-ups at Montour

Kindergarten sign-ups take place in February and March.

Children who will turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013 can register to attend kindergarten at the Montour School District.   Registration for the 2013-2014 academic year takes place between Feb. 19 and March 8, between the hours of 8:30 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. Parents should complete the district's registration packet and turn it into the administration office at 225 Clever Road in Robinson between those dates.  Click the media in this article to view the registration packet.
