How Low Will They Go? Why Experts Predict Robinson & Moon Gas Prices Will Drop Even More

See which station has the lowest gas prices in Robinson, Moon and Crescent townships.

The summer driving season is just around the corner, a time when Robinson-Moon area drivers brace for more pain at the pump. But maybe not this year. Jeff Edwin of Ross was pleasantly surprised Monday when he filled up his sport utility vehicle at the Sheetz on Babcock Boulevard for $3.57 a gallon. “Get it while it's less than $3.60, you know? The Cheapest Gas in Town

Patch Spots the Cheapest Gas in Town

In this new weekly feature, Patch tells you where to save money on fuel.

Looking to save money at the pump this weekend? Head over to Citgo on McGovern Boulevard in Crescent. The last time Patch checked, fuel there was selling for $3.52 per gallon -- the cheapest price in the Moon area. That's 7 cents less than the $3.59-per-gallon price at Sheetz, BP and Sunoco on University Boulevard and BP on Brodhead Road in Moon. AAA reports that the national average price of gas is $3.54 per gallon. Of course, prices are subject to change.
