Moon School Board Re-Appoints McCurdy President
The board also approves change orders for its high school baseball field.
Members of the Moon Area School Board re-appointed Sandra McCurdy as board president for 2013. The year will be McCurdy's second as president of the board. Ron Steele was named vice president. The school board also approved $24,700 in repairs to the high school's baseball field, which was completed in 2010 as a part of a series of renovations at the district. The change order included $11,253 that will be credited to the district toward the repairs, which will include work on the infield and outfield. Problems with drainage and and grading have marred the field since its completion, district officials have said. What a disgrace. Having Mrs. McCurdy as president again. She definately can not lead by example. She sets bad examples. We all heard Mrs. McCurdy. I also, heard a backroom deal was made with the R's for her to retain as President. Changing parties to hold position. What a joke. We will remember this election if you run. more ›
