Moon, Robinson Change Trick-or-Treat Times As Hurricane Barrels Inland

An East Coast storm front forces communities to re-think trick-or-treating.

As a storm front moves in from the East Coast, communities have pushed back Halloween festivities to avoid the rainy weather.  All Wednesday trick-or-treating events in the Patch, including Robinson, Crescent, Coraopolis and Moon Township, have been cancelled.  High winds and flooding are possible during the remainder of the week, as Hurricane Sandy moves inland from the East Coast.  New trick-or-treating times are as follows:  Check back with Patch for more updates.

Trick-or-Treat: Halloween Events in Robinson and Moon

Trick-or-treat hours and Halloween events are planned in the neighboring townships.

Looking for Halloween family fun in Robinson, Moon or Crescent? Mark your calendars for trick-or-treat times and other upcoming community celebrations:    Halloween at Clever Park:  Trick-or-treaters and their families are invited to the Clever Park Rotary Shelter off Clever Road in Robinson Township for a Halloween celebration, taking place from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 27.  The Montour High School marching band and Forest Grove Volunteer Fire department will be on hand for a parade through the park, kicking off at noon.  Children dressed in costume are invited to march along with the parade. Moon Parks, Library Host Halloween Celebrations

Looking to make it a spook-tacular Halloween? Stop by these community events in Moon and Crescent townships.

Both the Moon Township Public Library and Department of Parks and Recreation have planned Halloween fetes for Moon Township families. Moon Parks Halloween spectacular Stop by Moon Park at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday for a family-friendly, outdoor celebation that will include performance from the Moon Area marching band, hayrides and a photo booth. ZomProm 2001 Teens can attend this dance for the undead at 8 p.m. Friday at the Moon Township Public Library. Food, drinks and a DJ will be on hand.
