The Chartiers Valley Colts boys’ basketball team fell after the Montour Spartans pulled ahead 47-40 in the final minutes of the WPIAL AAA championship game at the A.J. Palumbo Center in Duquesne Friday night. The game got under way after a short delay and the Colts scored two points within first ten seconds, according to the district’s official Twitter feed at @CVSDcolts. At the end of the first quarter, the Colts were up 18-11.
