Savory Hill Opens for Business in Moon, Stresses Local Ingredients on Menu
The new Moon Township bistro is located in the spot formerly occupied by Bullheads Bar & Grille.
Moon native Thomas Langan said it's a "chef's dream." The former Heinz Field chef and his wife Melanie have converted the former Bullheads Bar & Grille at 988 Brodhead Road into the new Savory Hill Bistro. The eatery opened its doors this week. The bistro will focus on cooking from scratch—offering a blend of local ingredients, a wine list featuring 30 to 40 varieties and a menu that will change with the season. "It will never get stale," said Langan, who said he has 20 years of restaurant experience. "We'll be rotating menu items with local ingredients."
