Moon Township Police are investigating the holdup reported shortly after 2:30 p.m.
This article was updated at 5:50 p.m. Staff members and children at Arena's Performing Arts Centre, Kindercare and the West Hills Rehabilitational Center were on lock down earlier today while police searched for an armed robbery suspect along Brodhead Road. Employees of 7-Eleven on Brodhead told police just after 2:30 p.m. today that a white, masked male robbed the convenience store at gunpoint. Witnesses said the man fled through a wooded area behind the store after committing the holdup. Moon Police Chief Leo McCarthy said in a statement that the robber has not yet been found.
