Kitchen updating is a large portion of my business, particularly since many homeowners are adding additions to their homes instead of moving into larger digs.
I find more clients are in need of a true, functional space as well as a space where the family can escape for homework, pay bills or surf the net in a quiet spot.
Almost all of my client projects involve painting. The initial design plan is often jump started with a paint color selection and the hiring of a professional painter.
Patch's House & Home
There are many easy methods to update your home, and one of them is to reframe your art collection.
Here are a few suggestions for home design resolutions for 2013.
You don’t have to spend a fortune on live evergreen décor for the holidays.
I like to take it easy with the extra holiday décor and allow the house to still have its own personality. Less is more when it comes to the holiday decorations and editing is always encouraged.
Chalkboard paint is huge. You can do marvelous things with this product, and use it over, and over, and over, again. Chalkboard paint is so cool that I’m amazed that more people don’t use it.
The wonderful thing about succulents is that they require very little attention—water occasionally and some sun.
The clear glass pendant lighting allows for an unobstructed view in this very small space. A cluster of five pendants will hang above the large table as a chandelier.
