Related experience: [Grew up in Moon, moved to St. Petersburg, FLA, after college but has lived in Moon since 1996.] I have been a member of the board of directors of Moon Township Little League Baseball for seven years, including serving as president for the past four years.  I am also a member of the Moon Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. I also serve as the awards chairman for Cub Scout Pack 310 in Moon. In addition to being on the baseball board of directors, I have been a coach in the league since 1999.

What is the primary reason you are running for this office? As a nearly lifelong resident of Moon Township, I care deeply about the success of our community. I am running for the position of supervisor to help make Moon Township the community it can be. Moon Township can be a thriving business community while still preserving the integrity of our neighborhoods.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? My most important goal is to hold the line on taxes. Secondly, I think that Moon Park could be a real gem if we are able to continue to fund the plan the renovation plans.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? Having lived here most of my life I have seen Moon go through many changes. Over the years, I have developed relationships with residents over a broad range of ages.  I think I have a really good idea of what the residents of Moon expect from the township.

What's your favorite thing about the community? My favorite thing about Moon Township is the diversity of neighborhoods and people that we have.  We truly are a cross section of America.

What is the biggest problem facing the community? In my opinion, the biggest problem facing the Township is how to develop some of the key commercial corridors.  I want to promote business in Moon Township but not at the expense of our neighborhoods.
