Patch Pets: Bruce and Josie Want to Shower You With Affection

Bruce and his sister, Josie, are two of the sweetest, gentlest dogs you will ever meet. The lovable German Shepherd mixes came to Animal Friends because their owner died.

They walk well on their leashes, and they love to cuddle. They love just about everyone, and they've even lived with a cat before.

Bruce, age 8, and Josie, 7, are the perfect ages because they're fun and personable, but they calm down as soon as you want them to. Visit them in their kennel and they'll shower you with affection for a few minutes then settle right down. They're an extremely easy-going duo; all they want is someone to hang out with.

One of the best things about them is how sweetly they interact with each other. They clearly depend on each other, and they keep one another amused with doggie games.

Bruce seems to understand that his little sister is the needier one. He always steps back and lets Josie have extra attention. Once Josie feels happy and secure, he takes his turn and asks for hugs and belly rubs. What a nice big brother!

Bruce and Josie are altered, vaccinated and microchipped.
