Playaways at the Library

New preloaded MP3s at the library!

February is a month all about the joys of love, so we want you to fall in love with a whole new way of listening to audio books.  Come and experience the uniqueness of listening to your favorite authors and stories on a Playaway.

Playaways are individual MP3 players loaded with one complete book.  Pop in a battery, plug in a pair of headphones, and start listening.  Playaways are ideal for exercise enthusiasts, travelers , on-the-go parents, and many others since they’re lightweight, compact, and completely portable. No need for electrical outlets, software, or other componants!  And, each Playaway can be played through your car’s stereo system with the proper adaptor.  You’ll find new releases and old favorites on Playaway in a range of genres and age groups.  Don’t hesitate to ask about how you can start listening to Playaways today or just browse our collection of titles located to the left of the fireplace in the back of the library near the books on CD.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
