No Steelers Shuttle Service this Season

Cuts in Port Authority funding result in elimination of special bus service to North Shore or Heinz Field for home games.

Pittsburgh Steelers fans who are making plan to attend the team's regular season home opener Sunday should keep in mind that the Port Authority of Allegheny County will not provide special bus service to Heinz Field or the North Shore this year.

Fans still may use regular Port Authority bus and light-rail "T" service on game days. The Port Authority says it eliminated service to home Steelers games when it cut service and jobs on March 27 due to reductions in state funding.

For route information, riders may visit www.portauthority.org or contact customer service at (412) 442-2000 or the TTY number, (412) 231-7007.
