The Moon Township Little League 9- and 10-year-olds are competing in the state playoffs in West Middlesex, PA.
Opening ceremonies were held Tuesday afternoon and the team will play three games. Moon played Tuesday against Warwick Township (Eastern PA) in its first game.
To make it to the state playoffs, Moon had to win the District Championship and the Sectional Championship.
Eight teams from all over the state are competing for the Championship to be held on Sunday, July 28. The winner will move on to the Little League World Series.

Thursday, July 25 - 8 p.m. vs. Red Land (Lewisberry near Harrisburg)
Friday, July 26 - 5:30 p.m. vs. Media (Eastern PA)
