"Hoops for Hope" Charity Basketball Game

“HOOPS FOR HOPE” Charity Basketball Game

Please join Us For a Great Evening and Support a Great Cause at the First “Hoops for Hope” Charity Basketball Game being held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the new Moon Area High School Gym located at 904 Beaver Grade Road.  Doors open at 7:00PM and event starts at 8:00PM. This family event is proudly sponsored by Falconi’s Moon Township Ford, and will showcase the Moon Area Boy’s Varsity Basketball Team taking on local TV and Radio Personalities, honored members of the Armed Forces, and former College Basketball stars to name a few.  The event will include a basketball game consisting of two 20 minute halves of play. There will also be various skill contests open to all attendees.  Try to shoot consecutive three-pointers, impress the crowd with a dunk, or make a half court shot.

Other activities will include a Chinese Auction, 50/50 Raffle, T-Shirt sales, Face Painting, Food and Concessions. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Mario Lemieux Foundation to continue their outstanding achievements and work in the area of cancer research and Austin’s Playroom.  Tickets are available at the door .  Adults $5.00; Students $3.00 and children 5 and under are free.  Please contact Lauren at Lfozard@comcast.net for more information.
