Cruise for Cadets Motorcycle Run is Saturday

Ride begins and ends at Hot Metal Harley Davison

All proceeds benefit the Allegheny County Camp Cadet program.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Ride lasts from 10:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. On-duty motorcycle police officers will escort riders. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate eye protection and helmets and have full fuel tanks.

 Awards will be given for best vintage motorcycle, best custom motorcycle and best in show. The public will vote for the winners. The largest participating group from one organization will receive special recognition. There will be raffles and prizes.

Camp Cadet provides children ages 12-14 with a better understanding of law enforcement activities while living in an environment similar to a police academy. The Pennsylvania State Police, Allegheny County Police, Allegheny County Sheriffs and municipal police officers are camp counselors and instructors.
