Aimee Morgan, Communications Major

What she'll miss: RMU's sense of community.

“I know it sounds cliche, but my first two years here I was on campus, and those were the best years of my life.

I remember coming in freshman year crying, missing my friends from home. I’m from Harrisburg, and I had a very tight-knit group of friends back home. When I got here, I remember meeting my roommate, and she was very outgoing, very fun, in the same major as me. She was basically just like me, and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh! This is going to be great.’ "

Tyler Warden, Sports Management Major

What he'll miss: Friendships at the university.

“You have your friends in high school, but then you always hear people say that the friends you’ll have for the rest of your life are the people you’ll meet in college. Most of my friends were from Pittsburgh. I had a couple friends that were from Erie or out of state or something -- it’s going to be different. You don’t know, maybe it’s going to be the last time you see them. You don’t know. It’s weird.”

Adam Thomas, Social Science Major

What he'll miss: The Mall at Robinson.

“Having everything at the Robinson mall has been pretty convenient because they have almost everything there. A friend of mine owns a store in the mall, Fun by the Pound, so I mainly hang out there.”

Shaina Hargenrader, Finance Major

What she'll miss: Living on campus.

“I will miss living in the college atmosphere and being on my own schedule, making class times that best fit my schedule, studying what interests me, and doing fun things on campus. I will miss living on campus because of the convenience, whether it be going to the gym, class or even just getting food.”

Daneca Butterfield, Psychology Major

What she'll miss: Moon.

“I will most importantly miss the people. I've made some amazing friends here over the past four years, and personally I think they are the main attraction of this campus. It's the friendly people, students and faculty that made my memories here so precious while adding such a rich character to the school.

I will miss the campus atmosphere, especially the spring season when everyone hangs around outside and cheering everyone on at outdoor spring sports. This school has been my home for four years, and I am proud to say that it is. As a soon as I join the alumni, I am excited to promote the school and look forward to coming back in the future and seeing how much it has grown. I will miss the unity of the Moon Township community and most definitely, the rich history and attractions of one of my now-favorite American cities, Pittsburgh."
