RMU Raising Funds to Help Students in Need

The seven-day fundraising drive needs 300 donations by midnight April 30.

Robert Morris University has launched a fundraising initiative that seeks to raise 300 donations in seven days.

RMU 300 could unlock $50,000 in donations to help needy students at the university if 300 donations are made before midnight April 30. 

Funds support the Student Emergency Fund, which has been used over the years to help students purchase textbooks, pay for car repairs and new clothes for a job interview, and even to cover student travel expenses to visit sick loved ones.

The minimum donation is $10. As of Thursday night, 119 donors had given nearly $3,000.
