Propel Montour Raises Money for Children's Hospital

Girls at Propel Montour raised money for Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh by collecting coins from fellow students.

Students at Propel Montour in Kennedy Township raised $1,042.23 for Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh through the school's "Girls on the Run" program.

Girls in grades three, four and five who take part in the program spearheaded a month-long effort to collect coins from fellow students, which they donated to the hospital's Family Life Fund earlier this week.

The fund provides support and activities for families whose children are hospitalized.
