Police Charge 12 with DUI

Moon Township Police took part in West Hills DUI Task Force Enforcement earlier this week.

Moon Township Police earlier this week charged a dozen people with driving under the influence of alcohol during targeted DUI patrols.

Township police conducted traffic patrols June 24 as a part of the West Hills DUI Task Force. Ross Township and Bellevue Borough police also took part in the patrols.

Officers monitored portions of University Boulevard and Moon Clinton Road from about midnight to 3:30 a.m.

Of the dozen individuals charged, 10 were Moon residents.
