Moon Students Head Back to the Classroom
The district announced several new hires for the school year.
Students in the begin the 2011-2012 academic year today.
Additions to the district's staff this year include high school assistant principal Ashley Porter and Bon Meade Elementary acting principal Jeffrey Carter.
Allard Elementary principal Caroline Johns will take on a second role as director of instruction for the school. Marian Day has been hired to teach art at Bon Meade Elementary, and Katy Smith will teach high school mathematics.
