Moon Seniors Sign Letters of Intent

Two Moon Area athletes will attend universities in New Jersey and Illinois, respectively.

 seniors Nicole Moorman and Sarah Ross have announced that they would continue their athletic careers in college. 

Moorman will attend Rider University, where the 6-foot-1 hitter and middle blocker will play volleyball for the New Jersey university's volleyball squad.  

Moorman is a three-year letter winner at Moon, where she serves as the volleyball team's captain and MVP. She is also an honor roll student and member of Key Club and has been selected as a member of the district's homecoming and prom courts.

Ross will continue her education at St. Francis University on a bowling scholarship. The 5-foot-7 Ross is a four-year letter-winner in the sport and maintains a 4.01 GPA. She also plays on the district's varsity softball team.
