Montour, Moon 'Favorite Teachers' Honored
Teachers from the neighboring school districts were remembered
Teachers from the Moon and Montour school districts have been recognized as a part of Barnes & Nobles effort to honor local educators.
Montour High School faculty members Mrs. Tobin, Mrs. Foxwell, Mrs. Benson and Mr. Byrom will be awarded as winners on April 16 for the book store's "My favorite teacher contest."

Students who wrote essays in favor of the teachers will also be recognized at the event, hosted at the Barnes & Noble store at Settlers Ridge in Robinson.
Moon Area School District teachers were also recognized by Barnes & Noble.

High school teachers Christopher D'Eramo, Shawn Welsh and Edwin Bamford; middle school teachers Nancy Custeau, Brooke Covington and Monica Zajicek; Bon Meade Elementary teachers Karen Ritter and Julie Rudi; Hyde Elementary teacher Marcia Welsh; McCormick Elementary teacher Vicki Carney and Lauren McCutcheon were each nominated by students for the honor.
The teachers were recognized on April 10 at the Barnes & Noble in Robinson.
