Montour Elementary Student Orientation Scheduled
The district will shutter Ingram Elementary, consolidating students at the Forest Grove and Burkett schools.
Elementary students in the Montour School District will attend orientation sessions in August.
Kindergarteners attending Forest Grove will attend orientation at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. August 13. First-graders will attend at 9:30 a.m. and second-graders will attend at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 15.
Third-graders attending Burkett Elementary will attend orientation at 10 a.m. Aug. 14. Fourth-graders will attend at 1:30 p.m. that day.

The Montour School District will Ingram Elementary for the upcoming school year. District officials said declining enrollment and test scores prompted the closure.
Under the district's newly revised school structure, students in kindergarten through second grade attend Forest Grove, while third and fourth-graders are enrolled at Burkett.
