Lady Tigers Soccer Plays Host to Charity Tournament

The event benefits Moon's West Hills Food Pantry.

The  Lady Tigers soccer team this week are playing host to an indoor tournament to benefit the Moon-based

More than 20 teams from across the region, including Butler, Montour and Belle Vernon, are taking part in the youth event, which continues today at Sportrak in Sewickley, said coach Bill Pfeiffer.

The tournament is divided by age group; most players are younger than 14.

"It's been going really well," Pfefer said. "[The team members] are volunteering for the event. Some of them are out there refereeing."

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
