End-of-Life Care: Understanding Hospice

Valley Care Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Baby Boomers & Beyond Realty will host a free workshop about hospice benefits on March 28th from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Valley Care Adult Day Services – Moon Township, 650 Cherrington Parkway.

Hospice services are about more than just bringing comfort during a person’s final days. Vincent Scandollari, community education representative with Horizons Hospice, will share information about the variety of hospice benefits.

This workshop is part of an ongoing caregiver support group series. The group is free and open to members of the public. Light refreshments will be served. Free on-site respite care for older adults is available during the meeting. Please call in advance to discuss your loved one’s needs.
