U.S. Trade Official to Tour Pittsburgh International Development Sites

Government and business officials will tour development sites surrounding Pittsburgh International.

Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald today will host United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk at Pittsburgh International Airport

Kirk along with United States Steelworkers president Leo Gerard will tour economic development sites surrounding the airport. 

Ambassador Kirk serves on President Obama's cabinet as a principal trade advisor and negotiatior. He will speak briefly at the airport following the tour.

It is unclear if the tour will take the group to sites in Moon or Robinson. Allegheny County spokeswoman Amie Downs said she was unable to disclose the specific locations of the tour, though it will take place in the airport region. 

U.S. Steel Corp. is rumored to be scouting new locations for its corporate headquarters, now located in downtown Pittsburgh.
