Traffic Delays Continue on Interstate 376

Single-lane closures and slowed traffic are expected until the end of February.

Traffic delays along the Interstate 376 Business Loop will continue through the end of the month. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that motorists should expect short-term  delays and single-lane closures until Feb. 28.

PennDOT crews are working on ramp and curb installations at the intersection of University Boulevard and Airside Drive. Restrictions will occur on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is a part of a , months-long project that includes concrete pavement patching, resurfacing, rail guide, signals and other improvements along the 3.77-mile stretch of the Interstate business loop. 

PennDOT spokesperson Jim Struzzi Patch in December that the project was expected to be completed by Feb. 11.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution in construction zones, according to PennDOT.
