Township Begins Search for New Planning Director

Adam McGurk, the township's current assistant manager and planning director, will officially resign from his positions at the end of the month.

spokeswoman Meghan McNamara said the township's administration has placed job advertisements in several trade publications seeking a new planning director.

Adam McGurk, who serves as the township assistant manager and planning director, will April 29 to relocate to New York City with his wife, whose position with American Eagle Outfitters has been transferred. McGurk has worked in Moon Township government since 2007.

McNamara said the township is looking for a candidate for planning director, not assistant township manager.
