Sewickley Bridge Washing Begins in Moon and Sewickley

PennDOT started washing activities Monday night, Sept. 30 on the Sewickley Bridge in Moon Township and Sewickley.

Bridge washing activities will continue from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights through Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Single lane alternating traffic will occur as needed on the bridge, which carries traffic over the Ohio River.  Flaggers will control traffic. Additional single lane closures will occur on northbound Route 51 as needed.

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
