Robinson Rep. Nick Kotik Wins Re-Election, Defeats Aaron Kime

The veteran Democratic legislator beats the Republican challenger and holds onto his seat in state House District 45.

More than a year ago, Nick Kotik thought his political career was over when a Republican redistricting plan moved his state House district to eastern Pennsylvania.

But the state judges threw out the maps and forced Republicans to redraw the district lines, giving Kotik new political life.

On Tuesday night, the Democrat from Robinson Township won re-election to his sixth term by fending off his Republican challenger.
