Public Invited to Natural Gas Workshop at Pittsburgh International Airport

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Allegheny County Airport Authority and CONSOL Energy invites the public to attend an upcoming workshop on oil and natural gas development.

The public workshop will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, 777 Aten Road, Moon Township.  

The purpose of the workshop is to teach residents more about oil and gas development plans at Pittsburgh International Airport and the environmental assessment process.

During the interactive session, attendees will get the latest information and will have the opportunity to ask questions about the proposed drilling plan, schedule, the purpose and need for oil and gas drilling, the drilling process and the next steps in the environmental assessment process. 

Attendees will also be able to provide comments and questions.
